An honest review about a holiday in the Aqualoo boarding house with children. Holidays in Loo with children Holiday house in Loo with children

Not everything went smoothly - the settlement in the private sector ended with contracting rotavirus and I had to move to the Aqualoo boarding house. Therefore, the review included a detailed review of the boarding house, its beach, infrastructure and entertainment for children.

What exactly attracted me to the village: the infrastructure is well developed, there is a lot of entertainment for children and there are places for adults to relax.

The village is small, relatively calm, there is no such noise as in large resorts.

With this material we will help you decide whether it is worth going to Loo with a small child, where it is better to stay, how to organize food so that it is tasty, safe and not too expensive, where to swim so as not to catch an infection, and what to do with children and adults.

The most important thing in vacation is to choose the right place to stay. We have seen this personally and would like to warn others.

2 months before the trip, we booked a mini-hotel on Dekabristov Street, a couple of minutes from the sea, it looks decent both in the photo and in reality. A room with a bathroom for two adults and two children cost a little more than 2 thousand in August, which is quite acceptable. Shared kitchen in a separate room, air conditioning in the room, friendly owners. And a little more than 30 rooms, which in a small space is a very good condition for the spread of infections.

There are many such mini-hotels and guest houses in Loo, for every taste and budget. When choosing them, you can highlight several advantages:

  • affordable price;
  • there are very decent options;
  • The owners will always tell you where to buy something and help with excursions.

But for us there was one huge minus that turned the rest of many into horror - rotavirus. We caught it on the second day, since everyone around us was vomiting and diarrhea. We urgently began to look for a boarding house with doctors, which is especially important when vacationing with children.

Getting to the hospital is borderline fantastic, ambulances are constantly driving, there are queues at pharmacies.

We were lucky; a room was available at the Aqualoo boarding house the next day. Price per day for a room is 8000 rubles, but with all-inclusive meals, a water park, its own beach and a doctor. And the boarding house is located away from the village - far from that river, which more closely resembles an open sewer and which flows directly into the sea. The only negative is that it is a bit far from the village center. Walking with children is not an option.

In Aqualoo, the doctor immediately prescribed treatment, we bought medicine at a pharmacy nearby without a long line, and finally, after 3 days, we were able to enjoy our vacation.

They clean their beaches there, and everything on the territory is well maintained, and at the first symptoms you will be prescribed treatment so as not to ruin your vacation by lying in bed. It is good to relax in guest houses at the beginning of the season, when the infection has not yet spread everywhere.

In general, regarding the housing situation in Loo, you can choose one of the following options:

  • hotels and inns;
  • boarding houses, sanatoriums and recreation centers;
  • guest houses;
  • private housing;
  • rest "savage".

Since most people in resort areas earn money during the season, housing prices depend on the chosen period for vacation. Thus, the peak prices occur in July-August.

Pros of choice hotel or hotel:

  • large choice - you can choose housing in the city center, on the outskirts or outside the city;
  • the presence of both luxury hotels and ordinary modest hotels;
  • modern living conditions.
  • when choosing an establishment with an average or low price, the furniture and the entire interior of the room will be quite sparse and of poor quality, and you have to pay dearly for a normal environment;
  • no interesting entertainment for children;
  • not all hotels are new.

Health resorts, recreation centers and boarding houses in Loo have the following advantages:

  • a wide range of medical and aesthetic services;
  • availability of catering;
  • Large bases have a lot of entertainment for children and adults.
  • again - if you choose an establishment with a low payment for accommodation, most likely, the infrastructure, service and overall impressions will not be enthusiastic, and really good conditions require a lot of money.

Guest houses- on various websites you can most often find guest houses in Loo. They are economical, but are often located quite far from the beach, and are not as reliable as hotels and boarding houses - you must check the rental agreement and ensure that all receipts, checks, etc. are issued.

Private sector presents a large selection of housing. In my opinion, you should only rent a house in an unfamiliar city based on recommendations from friends. You never know what kind of landlords and neighbors you'll find.

One day we saw vacationers "savages"- they set up a tent near their Zhiguli car and lived in these spartan conditions. Perhaps this is the most budget option for a holiday on the Black Sea coast, but also the most uncomfortable. If everything is clear with food - you can buy ready-made breakfasts, lunches or cook over a fire, then the issues of toilet and hygiene, garbage disposal, as well as mosquitoes and ticks are too important for me to relegate them to the background.

Whatever you choose, be sure to look at the location on the map!

Food

Finding a place for lunch in Loo is not at all difficult - there are a lot of cafes, canteens, and if the guest house has a kitchen, you can buy food at the market and in the store and cook it yourself. This is especially true with children, since no one will let you into the cafe’s kitchen, so you won’t be able to see the conditions.

Food in the canteens is quite affordable - you can have lunch for four for about 1,000 rubles, especially considering that children won’t eat much in the heat. Portions in canteens are decent, in cafes a little smaller, but the cost of lunch will be about 2,000 rubles. There was no noticeable difference in quality, the only differences were in the presence of waiters (not very efficient) and the atmosphere.

We bought vegetables at the market. The prices are not very low, but quite affordable. In stores, the cost of food is absolutely the same as in any large city, water is a little more expensive.

From the third day of our holiday we ate at the hotel, everything there was gorgeous, for every taste. There was always a choice - for children, steamed chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes, pasta. In general, parents with infants vacation in Aqualoo, and, surprisingly, I didn’t notice an outbreak of rotavirus there. Maybe due to timely contact with local doctors, or maybe due to the fact that the sea is really cleaner in this area.

Beach

On the first day of vacation we went to the beach. It was located almost right next to the hotel, but you need to cross the road.

This is a strange feature of most resorts - to the beach either through the highway or through the rails.

The beach is pebbly, despite the huge number of people, there were no problems choosing a place. There are places where the pebbles are smaller, you can lie directly on a towel. Where there are boulders, a sun lounger is better, although for some it’s fine. Children build towers from stones, make “pools”, and fetch water from the sea.

From the benefits of civilization:

  • paid sun loungers and umbrellas;
  • banana boat rides, catamarans, other water activities;
  • in some places there are changing cabins;
  • on the way to the beach there are a bunch of tents with equipment for any purpose: circles, shoes, sunscreen, water, souvenirs and much more.

Toilets... We didn't find any toilets.

Once we passed by a stinking booth a kilometer away, where they offered to go for 20 rubles. per person, but sorry. There was no desire.

There is trash on the beach, not that it’s absolutely terrible, but there is some. But people throw whatever they want, wherever they want, so we shouldn’t be surprised.

The beach of the Aqualoo boarding house is clean, constantly cleaned, we liked it there better, of course. The general area of the beach in that area also looks more decent, somehow more well-groomed. Maybe because there are fewer people there. Free and calm.

For those with a car: approach the owners of your (or neighboring) guest house and ask where they go for a swim. 100% locals never go to public beaches under any circumstances. If you're lucky, they will tell you how to get to a clean beach. There are no shops or cafes there, but the sea is definitely clean, you can dive and bathe children without fear for their health.

Leisure

For adults, there is a club in Loo, which is located just in Aqualoo. People come there from all the nearby villages, even from Sochi. We went once, fortunately the boarding house has babysitting services. Very cool, a lot of emotions.

Throughout the village there are booths with excursions, prices are different everywhere. Trips to Krasnaya Polyana, waterfalls, Dolmens, and just sightseeing tours of Sochi are offered.

You can save a lot by asking the owner of the guest house to take you to interesting places. They will charge less, and will tell you in more detail, and will not limit time. Our friends went this way and were very pleased.

For children in the village there are attractions, trampolines, cars, and various crawl spaces. Several playgrounds, quite decent. On the territory of the boarding house we had children's playgrounds, as well as sports grounds, with good training equipment.

The water park is very popular among vacationers of all ages. For children over the age of one year there is a separate area, simply delightful, small octopus slides and other entertainment. There is one minus - it is quite problematic to take children away from there.

If you do not live in a boarding house, entrance to the water park is about 1,500 rubles per adult for the whole day, The water park is free for Aqualoo guests. Some of the food is included there, I didn’t delve into it too much, since we had everything fully included.

In general, this is an ordinary resort village, with a standard set of entertainment for people of any age.

Adults on the embankment can sit in a cafe, sing karaoke, or play billiards. We also had billiards in the boarding house, but only for vacationers. People often gathered there in the evenings.

Children jump on different castle trampolines, ride on trains and crawl through mazes. And, of course, they ask parents to buy everything they see. And you can see a lot there - shops and stalls with toys and various interesting things are everywhere.

All important tips can be summarized into several points:

  1. Housing. It is very important to choose as much as possible further from the river. Otherwise, eternal stench and rotavirus are guaranteed. Also try to choose a boarding house with a doctor or a small guest house.
  2. Medicines. Take everything with you. There are pharmacies, but the queues there are long and the prices are inflated. At least let antipyretics, antiemetics, anti-diarrhea and rehydron be in the first aid kit.
  3. On the market bargain. They lower prices; if you buy several types of products, they give a discount. Especially sellers of Caucasian nationality.
  4. It is better to take excursions from the owners of guest houses - cheaper, more interesting.

Overall, we'd probably go back there. But only in June, at the beginning of the season, and only to the boarding house. Still, when traveling with children, everything should be taken into account, and the presence of a doctor is very important.

From the experience of friends, there are excellent guest houses, but you have to choose them on the spot, which is not always convenient, but it is reliable. On aggregator sites, they always book a vacation spot for a day, and then look for a suitable option on the spot.

July. Family with children

Russia, Loo

Hello everyone! In July, my schoolgirl daughters and I vacationed in the small village of Loo. The children quickly acclimatized and immediately went to the beach. This small resort town has a lot of entertainment for children. On the beach we rode a banana boat and a boat along the entire coast. Not far from our boarding house there was an excellent modern playground. There are a lot of children there! We met a family there with a child from Belarus. The children were inseparable throughout their entire holiday: to the beach, to the park, to the cafe and to the playground. Everything is great with food there. In addition to our dining room, we went to the children's cafe and to the terrace. The children always came out full and happy. I recommend this resort for families with children! It's beautiful and fun here!

June. Family with children

Russia, Loo

In June of this year, my first-grader son and I were lucky enough to visit the beautiful resort village of Loo.
We rested in a brand new small house, which is located right on the seashore. We rented it specifically so that the child could breathe sea air, otherwise he often gets sick.
We really enjoyed spending hours on the seashore and admiring the wonderful natural views. Loo is a real children's resort, where everything is created for relaxation with children and entertainment. For example, my son really liked the dolphinarium, where you need to go by boat. There are a lot of children and adults there. The child spent a long time at home talking about his impressions of the performance he saw.
By the way, I really like such a relaxing holiday without noisy entertainment. Our Russians are great for managing to keep this beautiful resort relatively clean and comfortable, and also to embellish it.

The concept of an inexpensive holiday on the Black Sea coast is difficult for many to wrap their heads around. Everyone is accustomed to the fact that you need to shell out a good amount for a vacation to truly be a vacation.

However, on the Caucasian coast of the Black Sea, everyone knows the resort village of Loo, from which Sochi is only 18 kilometers away. This area contains all types of recreation that are possible. Therefore, if you decide to spend your holidays in Loo with children, you can’t go wrong by saving your budget.

It is noteworthy that the resort microdistrict is located on the territory of two nature reserves at the same time. These are the Sochi National Park and the Caucasus Biosphere Reserve. A summer without clouds, long spring and autumn will make a holiday with children in Loo an unforgettable experience not only for you, but especially for the children. Peace and comfort can confidently be called the hallmark of this place on the coast of the Lazarevsky district of Sochi.

Mountain air provides the necessary coolness even during the peak of the summer heat, and together with sea water, it will provide an opportunity not only to relax in Loo with children, but also to restore and improve your health. Sea water, clean air and sunbathing will help restore not only the nervous system and metabolism. Together, these natural gifts can provide ideal prevention of skin diseases.

If we talk about treatment in Loo, then it is worth remembering the silt mud of Imertinskaya Bay and the Mineral Waters of Lazarevsky. Based on them, the local sanatorium provides health treatment, which is performed by real specialists.

You can not only spend a holiday in Loo with children, but also combine it with an excellent excursion into history. Once upon a time, the Abaza feudal lords Loova lived here, after whom, in fact, the resort village was named. If you climb 200 meters into the mountains, you will see the ruins of an Abkhaz-Alan temple, which was built back in the 8th century.

From the highway to the beach of the village of Loo it is only 200 meters. This will allow you to make “forays” into other places and see the sights of the Lazarevsky coast.

If you decide to vacation with children in Loo, then you cannot do without regular visits to the local beach, which satisfies all the needs of tourists. Pleasure boats, banana boats, catamarans, water skis and motorcyclists are not all the types of entertainment that are provided on the beach of the resort microdistrict.

But true gourmets of sea holidays value primarily diving and sea fishing, which will impress all family members.

If you decide to spend a vacation on the Black Sea coast and decide to organize a “”, then it will be useful to know that you can get to this resort area by all means of transport. The village has a railway station, a pier for small ships, and as for the airport, it is located nearby in Adler.

Only serious reasons can leave a person with a negative impression of a holiday in the village of Loo on the Lazarevsky coast of the Krasnodar Territory. Basically, most vacationers decide to relax in this resort area again, or at least stop by for a day.

Famous for its magnificent clean beaches, picturesque nature and developed entertainment infrastructure, much of which is entertainment for children, Loo is a small village that is part of the Sochi cluster. Neither adults nor children will definitely get bored here: holidaymakers of all ages will find activities to suit their taste and age. Let's look at the question of where in the village you should go with your child so that he is satisfied.

Water park "AquaLoo"

As reviews from family parents say, this is one of the best places in Loo where you can go with your child. “AquaLoo” is an entire resort center, which includes a sanatorium and several leisure facilities. It has excellent infrastructure, where there are not only, but also:

The water entertainment center consists of two parts - winter and summer, where there are 11 slides, 20 descents, 12 waterfalls, 4 saunas and a jacuzzi. Here you can play water polo, take part in team sports, do water aerobics and learn fiery dances.

For kids, there are daily mini-discos, animation programs, and special shallow pools with sea water, where the little ones ride on slides in the shape of a penguin, octopus, elephant, clown, dolphin, snake and mushroom.

In the crocodilarium, your children will see, feed and pet various reptiles, birds, monkeys - there are more than a hundred animals. The cinema, equipped with the latest technology, broadcasts domestic and foreign releases. According to reviews, in “AquaLoo” you can have great fun, relax and keep children of all ages occupied.

House-Museum "Tea Houses"

If you are wondering where to go with your children in Loo, you should look into the neighboring village of Uch-Dere, next to which grow the northernmost tea plantations in the country. The attraction bears its name and is a series of wooden buildings surrounded by an exotic park.

Guests here are treated to delicious tea and sweets: pastries, honey, jam, etc. A real Russian tea party is accompanied by folk scenes, dances and songs - visitors of any age will have fun here.

Excursionists will also be able to visit an exhibition of Russian crafts and a small open-air museum, where a small copy of the Kizhi nature reserve is on display. The observation decks of the ethnographic complex offer visitors a panoramic view of the Main Caucasus Range, fields and distant villages.

Equestrian tourist base "Paradise Pleasure"

In Greater Sochi you can find a wide variety of entertainment for children. Loo, among others, offers to visit the equestrian tourist complex “Paradise Delight”. Parents and their children can purchase a ride on well-trained and beautiful horses around the outskirts of the village.

Travelers will see the wonderful Belaya River, the Circassian Pass and several waterfalls. Depending on the age of the child, you can choose tours of varying degrees of difficulty. Visitors will receive positive emotions from interacting with charming animals and the most vivid impressions from a leisurely trip through the most beautiful places in Sochi.

Central beach Loo

The coastal zone of the village is deservedly included in the TOP of the best in Greater Sochi. You can have fun with the whole family on the shore. In addition to the magnificent clean sea and the long, wide sea, a variety of fun activities are available for tourists of all ages - the whole life of the village of Loo is concentrated here. Here are the best activities for children:

  • trampolines;
  • inflatable slides;
  • carousels;
  • swing;
  • water balloons;
  • 5D cinema.

Parents with older children should go on a boat trip on catamarans, yachts or other transport. A big plus is a smooth entry into the water and the presence of all the necessary beach infrastructure: changing cabins, showers, medical and rescue stations. The bank has an indescribable atmosphere of eternal celebration and fun.

Dolphinarium No. 1

You can look at the charming inhabitants of the depths of the sea right here - at the Loo Dolphinarium.

Vacationers will see a colorful show lasting 50 minutes, during which Black Sea bottlenose dolphins and fur seals will demonstrate incredible intelligence and dexterity: they will surprise everyone with dancing, juggling, jumping and dizzying numbers with experienced trainers. Here you can attend dolphin therapy sessions - communication with animals that is healing for the soul and body. For children from 3 years old, swimming with dolphins is available, during which children will play ball with them, pet them and swim side by side.

Undoubtedly, a holiday with the charming inhabitants of the sea will bring a lot of positive emotions to both children and their parents.

Vacationers can easily resolve the difficulty of where to go to Loo with children. At their service are all kinds of natural, cultural attractions and entertainment for children. For a relaxing time, a walk in the park near the “Tea Houses” is suitable; for a fun holiday with the whole family, a visit to “AquaLoo”. Whatever the resort guests choose, they will definitely get their dose of positivity. There is no doubt about it!

The website presents accommodation in Loo for families with children. All facilities have playgrounds, sandboxes, swings, small pools are often found, there are toys, sometimes playrooms and a visiting animator. In most cases, there is a green area where the child can run around calmly and a mini-park or square nearby.

There are many options for staying with a child in Loo - from the private sector, which is cheaper, to hotels and boarding houses. The owners of accommodation posted on the site usually accept children of any age. Most of the options are located in the seaside part or in its center, so there is always somewhere to take a walk with your child, where to go and what to see, and it’s not far from the sea. Holidays with kids in Loo are popular, so here you can find rentals of children's bicycles, radio-controlled cars and even inflatable trampolines on the territory. To make your vacation cheaper, book accommodation without intermediaries and in advance, 2-3 months before your trip, it will be 15-25% cheaper.
