Black Sea resorts - where it’s cheaper, where it’s more expensive

The most disappointing thing about Russian resorts on the Black Sea is the cost of vacation. Compared to the incomprehensible service, the prices are amazing. Although there are changes for the better: cities and towns have become cleaner, many new worthy facilities have been built, and the range of entertainment offered has expanded significantly.

Judging by the early booking offers, in the summer of 2020 the most expensive holidays will be in Anapa and Yalta. Cheaper - about 25-35% - in Sevastopol, Evpatoria and Koktebel. Even cheaper - up to 40-50% - in Alushta, Feodosia, Sudak, Kerch, Saki and Tuapse. The lowest prices are offered by the small resorts of Western and Eastern Crimea - Mirny, Storm, Mezhvodnoe, Ordzhonikidze, Resort and others.

The second most popular resort in Russia on the Black Sea is. There are many modern hotels and guest houses, and a large selection of housing in the private sector. However, the prices are high and there are many tourists. During the season there is not enough space on the public beach - tourists swim even under prohibitory signs. It is more comfortable to relax in the suburbs of Gelendzhik - Kabardinka and. Go there if you want to breathe more freely, although it is overcrowded in the summer.

If you come to relax on the Black Sea at the height of the summer season, this awaits you. I took the photo on the beach in Divnomorskoye, Krasnodar Territory.

Another city where you can have a wonderful holiday with children in the Krasnodar Territory by the sea is. The recognized children's resort stubbornly ranks among the top five. Most tourists choose villages and. The latter is a new rapidly developing resort with an excellent hotel base.

  • The villages of Betta, Dzhanhot and Krinitsa (Gelendzhik).
  • Uncrowded beaches in the area of Nizhne-Imeretinskaya Bay in Adler.
  • Uncrowded beaches near Kiseleva Rock and in Dzhubga (Tuapse).
  • The coast from Dzhankhot to Praskoveevka is chosen by fans of wild recreation with tents. There are also nudists.
  • There are camping sites on the wild beaches of Kabardinka (Gelendzhik) and Blagoveshchenskaya (Anapa).
  • Eastern coast of Crimea near Ordzhonikidze and Kurortny.
  • Wild beaches in the Sevastopol area (Cape Fiolent, Khersones, Laspi Bay) and in Lyubimovka.

Last summer we had a great time on vacation at the Enot camping site near Arkhipo-Osipovka. As far as we have studied the topic, this is one of the best tent camps in the entire Black Sea. The owners organized the campsite at the highest level, everything is civilized: hot showers, Wi-Fi, electricity, comfortable washbasins, decent toilets, plenty of space. In the evenings, raccoons come and ask for food - both children and adults are delighted. The campsite has several sites with stunning sea views!

One of our favorite places in Crimea is Cape Vinogradny in Sevastopol.

In Crimea many interesting places: you can visit unique bays and a nature reserve in the New World, ancient fortresses in Sudak and Balaklava, cave cities in Bakhchisaray, waterfalls and mountains in Yalta and Alushta, the Botanical Garden in Nikita, ancient palace complexes and parks (Alupka, Livadia, Massandra ), historical monuments and archaeological sites (Sevastopol, Evpatoria, Kerch) and much more.

Youth resorts on the Black Sea

For a good holiday, young people need a clean sea with a beach, inexpensive food with an overnight stay and entertainment. All this is in Tuapse, Anapa, Alushta, Feodosia, Sudak and Evpatoria. There are also good entertainments in the villages of Dzhemete, Vityazevo, Lazarevsky, Simeiz and others. Prices in bars, clubs and discos are quite affordable, unlike expensive Yalta, Sochi and Gelendzhik.

The best beaches of the Krasnodar region

Where is the best place for older people to relax on the Black Sea?

For older people, quiet places with a lot of greenery and silence in the evenings are most suitable. Many come for treatment - in the health resorts of the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory they treat diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, the respiratory system (Yalta, Sochi), dermatological, urological diseases and diseases of the musculoskeletal system (Gelendzhik, Saki, Alupka, Evpatoria, Anapa).

Where is the best place to relax with children on the Black Sea?

Black Sea resorts are considered the best for children Anapa,Evpatoria And Feodosia. All of them are not too expensive and, from an infrastructure point of view, are ideal for family holidays. Everywhere there are dolphinariums, water parks, children's cafes and amusement parks.

Where else can you relax with children in the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea? According to reviews from tourists, good conditions for family holidays can be found in Zaozernoye, Peschany, Lyubimovka, Ordzhonikidze (Crimea), Vityazevo, Dzhemete, Olgino, Lermontovo, Lazarevsky (Krasnodar Territory).

Advice: consider travel distance, prices and natural conditions. For example, Anapa is good for families with children, but in mid-summer the sea begins to bloom and the water becomes cloudy due to algae. If you compare prices, the cheapest holidays are in Feodosia, Sudak and the villages of Western Crimea, but you will also have to travel longer.

The Black Sea, connecting through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits, as well as the Sea of Marmara and the Mediterranean with the Atlantic Ocean, is of strategic importance for Russia. The coastline was reclaimed by the state; some territories remain the subject of disputes today.

Black Sea coast of Russia

(Black Sea coast with resort towns of Russia)

The length of the Russian Black Sea coastline today is 1200 km. It starts from the Caucasus Mountains, continues along the coastal strip from Taman to Adler, and includes the Crimean coast.

Its relief is represented by the Caucasus and South Coast mountains, lowlands and estuaries, mainly in the eastern part, as well as steep ledges. In general, the line is poorly indented; there is only one peninsula - Crimea. There are no islands in the Black Sea.

Russia's access to the Black Sea

Russia first began to claim access to the Black Sea by appropriating coastal lands in the 18th century. It was a victorious war with Turkey, which resulted in the conquest of Anapa and the Crimean Peninsula. After this, at the beginning of the 19th century, the settlement of the conquered lands by the Slavs began.

Crimea was given to Ukraine immediately after the collapse of the USSR, but in 2014 the entire peninsula, including the Crimean Black Sea coast, re-entered Russia, and is the subject of disputes with Ukraine and the Western world.

Characteristics of the Black Sea

Depth: maximum 2210 m

Average water temperature (Black Sea coast, Russia): Winter 7.7 °C, Summer 19 - 24 °C

Coasts: pebbles, gravel, sand and steep stone banks

Climate: mostly continental, the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus and Tuapse have a milder subtropical climate

The location of the coastline of the Russian Black Sea coast and the landscape features determined the formation of three climatic zones at once:

  • humid subtropical;
  • Mediterranean;
  • moderate sea.

The underwater world of the Black Sea is represented by dolphins and a type of shark - katrans. The latter do not pose a danger to people. Among the commercial fish found in coastal waters, it is worth noting flounder, goby and mullet.

Cities on the Black Sea in Russia

(The dune sandy shores of Anapa)

Most cities on the Black Sea coast of Russia have the status of resorts, due to the presence of appropriate resources and climatic conditions on the territory.

Anapa. The most western settlement among the cities on the mainland of the Russian Black Sea coast. At one time, the capture of the Anapa fortress allowed the Russian government to exercise control over the Black Sea. Today, it is a resort city.

Novorossiysk. The city does not have resort status, despite the annual number of vacationers. The settlement is surrounded on all sides by the mountains of the Caucasus Range, but they are not high. The surroundings of Gelendzhik are characterized by the same relief. The height of the mountains in the Gelendzhik region is greater.

Tuapse. It is the starting point of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. The resort is surrounded by high mountains.

Sochi. The largest and most equipped resort in the Russian Federation. Known all over the world. The length of the coast of Greater Sochi is more than 100 km.

Kerch. The easternmost point of the Crimean coast. The city is located at the junction of the Black and Azov Seas. In Kerch there is a ferry connecting the peninsula with the Russian mainland.

(Stone coast of the Crimean peninsula)

Yalta. A world-famous resort city with a mild climate. Located surrounded by the high Crimean mountains.

Sevastopol. A city with federal status. The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy is based in its bays. The city does not have resort status; its infrastructure is designed to serve the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Evpatoria. The largest city on the western side of the Crimean coast. It is a health resort. There are many children's recreation centers and hospitals located here. This is a recognized balneological resort.

More and more people are concerned about the question: where to move to live by the sea in Russia? Our citizens, residents of neighboring countries, and even guests from foreign countries are thinking about this. Such popularity of resort towns is fully justified, because they all have an attractive climate, ancient architecture, an abundance of historical monuments, developed infrastructure and economic attractiveness. Let's consider various "sea" options, choosing the best cities to live.

Krasnodar

Krasnodar is a modern city, which is a major cultural, historical and economic center of the Southern Federal District. The city has a favorable location - the Black and Azov Seas are 120 km from the city. Therefore, most routes to Russian resorts pass through Krasnodar, which annually amounts to a good profit for the city.

Krasnodar is also known as a tourist center. On the territory of the city there are a large number of wooden houses in the classicist style, which form the overall appearance of the city, creating an inimitable architecture. Particularly noteworthy is Krasnaya Street (another name for Little Paris), on which the main attractions of the city are located.

Krasnodar is an economically developed city, the housing stock here is excellent, and the condition of the roads is among the best in Russia. Therefore, cottage villages in Krasnodar (a prominent representative of nikolinopark.ru) are becoming increasingly popular. This is where you should move to live by the sea, because the pleasant climate of the city is perfectly combined with entrepreneurial activity and business development.

Adler

The city is a popular resort on the Black Sea, which is a remote area of Sochi. Adler is located on a plain, but its northern territory is surrounded by the Caucasus Range, which creates picturesque views with eternally frozen ice on its peaks. The city manages to combine a hot seaside holiday with a popular ski resort.

Where to move to live by the sea - Adler advantages:

  • various types of extreme sports: rafting, horseback riding through gorges, rock climbing;
  • developed medicine and the presence of a huge number of sanatoriums and health resorts;
  • a wide selection of children's camps - you can choose leisure activities all year round;
  • developed infrastructure and a large number of entertainment venues;
  • high satisfaction with the standard of living of local residents, great economic potential.

Sochi

The city is the largest resort in Russia, which is often called the summer capital. Sochi offers the most varied and exciting leisure activities: educational, beach, entertaining, active, etc. If you decide to move to live by the sea, then blooming alpine meadows, mysterious caves and snow-capped mountain peaks will be a pleasant addition to the azure shores.

Sochi is one of the elite cities, so its developed infrastructure offers its residents everything, from business centers to all kinds of entertainment. The city is also developed in secular terms; world-class festivals and awards are held here every year.

The largest resort in Russia can easily be called a business center. New projects are regularly built here, new production facilities are opened, providing jobs. The city will be of interest to both large investors and ordinary employees. By moving to live by the sea in Russia, you can successfully combine the resort advantages of Sochi and economic potential.

Tuapse

The city is located on the Black Sea coast and has unique flora and fauna. The abundance of natural and historical monuments, the harmonious combination of high mountains and noisy waterfalls make Tuapse attractive in terms of tourism. There are extensive opportunities for fishing and scuba diving enthusiasts. The resort has one of the longest coastlines.

Tuapse is an economically developed city, so if you are concerned about the question of how to move to live by the sea and maintain financial independence, then the resort offers a lot of opportunities for implementation and a good social package. The city provides interesting leisure opportunities, from active events to social events.

Other options by the sea

  • Anapa;
  • Novorossiysk;
  • Gelendzhik;
  • Sprinkle;
  • Taganrog;
  • Hosta.

When choosing a city by the sea, take into account the fact that most of them are tourist destinations. Therefore, during the high season there may be a heavy influx of tourists, which will interfere with privacy and a relaxed lifestyle.

Pictures from the Internet lure us to foreign seaside resorts to enjoy palm trees on the embankment, healing procedures and beautiful views. In fact, you can relax just as well without leaving Russia. The Black Sea coastline covers hundreds of kilometers. We have chosen, in our opinion, the best places to relax on the Black Sea.

To determine where it is best to relax on the Black Sea in Russia, it is worth taking into account the following indicators:

  • climate;
  • popularity;
  • infrastructure;
  • price;
  • attractions;
  • entertainment.

The first resort on the list of the best is Anapa. Here you can have a great time with your family and improve your health, as the resort is famous for its healing mud.

The beaches in Anapa have a gentle entrance to the water, so they are ideal for children. By the way, kids can be taught to swim and snorkel; in Anapa you can easily find a children’s trainer.

The coastal zone is not the only place to relax. We recommend visiting the famous “Russian Gate” of the Turkish fortress, the Gorgippia Museum, and looking at the Anapa lighthouse and aquarium. The pride of the resort is the dolphinarium. Its peculiarity is that the park’s water area is located in the open sea.

Not far from Anapa lies the picturesque Sukko Valley. Here you can find deserted wild beaches with small pebbles.

Perhaps Sochi is the leader in popularity. The humid subtropical climate allows the beach season to begin in early May and end closer to November.

The area fascinates with its beauty. The coastal zone borders the mountains. In the gorges, rivers form high waterfalls, nearby there are lakes and dense forests. Tourists are offered excursions to mountain canyons and caves. Sochi is not only the largest resort in Russia, but also a spacious protected area.

To get acquainted with the interesting places and sights of the city, the beauty of its nature, go to the local residents. There really is something to see here, especially after the Olympics.

Adler is part of the Sochi resort group, so it is also very popular among Russians. Here are the famous Olympic Park and the Sochi theme park. You won’t be bored in Adler; vacationers are offered:

  • dolphinarium;
  • aquapark;
  • aquarium;
  • ostrich farm;
  • arboretum;
  • apery;
  • skypark.

The beaches here are considered one of the cleanest on this coastline. The sanatoriums offer treatments with hydrogen sulfide silt mud and mineral waters. Such treatment is recommended for people with chronic diseases of almost all body systems.

If the purpose of your vacation is to improve your health, the best option is Gelendzhik. There are more than a dozen sanatoriums and boarding houses here. The air is saturated with the aroma of pine and juniper. There are both pebble beaches and sandy ones created artificially.

There is also a lot of entertainment in Gelendzhik:

  • three water parks;
  • Safari Park;
  • cable car;
  • amusement park;
  • dolphinarium

The area in Gelendzhik is very picturesque. Be sure to go on an excursion and get acquainted with the ancient dolmens, the Parus rock, and the waterfalls of the Zhane River.

Tuapse is another resort-sanatorium. The air here is unusually fresh, since a large area is occupied by forests. Here you can have great fun: ride catamarans, scuba dive and even parachute jump. At the same time, the cost of living here is lower than at the resorts of the Sochi group.

The downside of the city of Tuapse is the chemical fertilizer plant, so when settling it is better to choose places away from the center.

The most popular resort on the southern coast of Crimea is Yalta. Here, as in the case of Sochi, it is worth distinguishing between two concepts: Greater Yalta, that is, 70 km of coastline in the south of Crimea, and the city of Yalta itself.

The main attractions of this region are:

  • Wuchang-Su waterfall;
  • Mount Ai-Petri;
  • Yalta embankment;
  • "Glade of Fairy Tales";
  • Livadia Palace;
  • Vorontsov Palace;
  • Swallow's Nest in Gaspra;
  • Nikitsky Botanical Garden;
  • Massandra winery.

There are plenty of places for entertainment, including at night. For example, after sunset you can go to a party on a yacht. If you go on a boat trip during the day, get ready to see dolphins jumping out of the water.

In the southeast of Crimea there is the popular balneological and mud resort of Feodosia. The sea here is unusually clean, since the bottom in the beach areas is mostly sandy and practically not overgrown with algae. The descent is smooth, there are areas with shallow depths, which is ideal for children and people who cannot swim. The favorite place of vacationers is the Golden Beach, which is gradually replaced by a pebble coast.

For health improvement in Feodosia, mineral water of the same name is used. You can also stay in a sanatorium or boarding house here.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to relax on the Black Sea, pay attention to the small resort town of Evpatoria. The beaches here are safe; vacationers are offered a wide variety of entertainment, for example, yacht trips or diving in the caves of Tarkhankut.

To increase the level of cultural education, we advise you to get acquainted with the old part of the city. Yevpatoria is considered an open-air museum, with its mosques and Karaite kenas. This part of the city is popularly known as Little Jerusalem.

Alushta is considered one of the best vacation spots among the Crimean resorts. The swimming season starts in May and ends in October. The climate is favorable, summers are not as hot as in Yalta. The beaches here are strewn with small pebbles, the mountains are overgrown with beech and pine forests. There is also a spring with healing water.

For fans of active recreation, you can create a rich program with visits to a lot of interesting and picturesque places:

  • Chatyr-Dag mountain range;
  • Mount Castel;
  • Cape Plaka;
  • Bird Islands;
  • Khapkhal Gorge;
  • Jur-Jur waterfall;
  • Valley of Ghosts.

The cozy town of Sudak is perfect for a family holiday. It offers stunning views of the sea and the valley. There is an embankment along the beach, nearby is the Sudak fortress and Cape Alchak. If the bustle of the resort and active beach activities tire you, not far from Sudak you can find a calmer and more secluded place to relax in the quiet and picturesque “colored” bays of the New World.

These are not all the options where you can go in Russia for a holiday on the Black Sea coast. Every year, with the onset of the holiday season, interesting options and promotions from tour operators and sanatoriums appear. Don't miss out on this great offer!

The Black Sea is the best place for a beach holiday in Russia, especially since Crimea has become easily accessible. In this article we will look at the best resorts of the Black Sea and see why they are so good.

Sochi

Sochi is the main resort city on the Black Sea coast. It is part of the Greater Sochi zone, which includes a number of good resorts and stretches all the way to Abkhazia. Its main feature is its developed tourist infrastructure. By the way, in Greater Sochi there is Krasnaya Polyana, a popular winter tourism center.

Sochi itself is popular mainly due to its developed tourist infrastructure. It has many entertainment centers, museums, zoos, water parks, amusement parks and sports grounds.

After the Olympics, everything is fine with sports here. A beautiful skate park has been opened on Ostrovsky Square, and a sports town has been built in Riviera. There are also many opportunities for active entertainment around the city - hiking and horseback riding, rock climbing, rafting along the Mzymta and much more.

But mostly people come here for a beach holiday, although the beaches here are not particularly luxurious. Equipped ones are usually paid, belong to hotels, but there are also public and wild coasts.

There are also a lot of hotels, sanatoriums, health resorts and other places where you can have a good rest and improve your health.

Reviews about this city are mostly positive - the rating on review sites is between 4-4.5 points. Tourists are attracted by the sunny weather, sea, numerous entertainment and hotels. Also, many note the cleanliness, hospitality of the local residents and the very beautiful nature. It’s good here with children and just adults vacationing.

There are also negative reviews - mainly about the large number of people and high prices. Some people talk about dirt, but this information is not confirmed by the photo, so it is unlikely to be reliable. There are also those who do not like too hot climates.

Gelendzhik

This is not only one of the best resorts in Russia on the Black Sea, but also the center of the region, which includes Divnomorskoye, Kabardinka and other popular places.

Among the attractions of interest are numerous museums, Gebeds waterfalls, and the Kastal font. In Kabardinka, in the Old Park, there are small copies of buildings of different styles and eras.

You can have fun on the rides of Central Park and in the Golden Bay and Behemoth water parks. Extreme enthusiasts will enjoy the Safari Park, and lovers of the aquatic world will enjoy the Oceanarium and Dolphinarium.

The main thing in Gelendzhik is the beaches. The city has a sandy beach, all others are small pebbles. Kabardinka has both pebble and sandy beaches, suitable for families with children. Dzhanhot and Divnomorskoye also have good coastlines, but only pebble ones.

The reviews are good, but tourists immediately note that the sea at the resort is dirty and the prices are very high. Apart from this, everything is great - interesting entertainment, beautiful nature, interesting sights. True, it can be a little boring with children, but adults will definitely be able to have a good time.

Adler

Adler is considered part of Greater Sochi, but we decided to talk about it separately, as it deserves attention. The resort is in the very south of the zone, with a huge amount of entertainment, cafes, nightclubs, etc. This is accompanied by beautiful nature and, of course, the sea. The beaches are mostly pebble, the entrance is smooth, so you can relax with children. The main advantage is the clean coast and water. Even on municipal and free beaches there is infrastructure, from sun loungers to entertainment in the form of riding on the water on various watercraft.

There are also attractions - for example, the Mzymta River, a botanical garden, a dolphinarium and the Amphibius water park.

Reviews are contradictory - almost everyone likes the sea and beaches, but Adler itself seems noisy, dirty and polluted even to unpretentious tourists. It has inconveniently organized public transport, rather boring and not much entertainment. As elsewhere in the Krasnodar region, prices are very high. But purely for a beach holiday, the place is quite good - the main thing is to choose a hotel.

Anapa

Anapa is a famous resort, mainly due to its low prices. There is a pleasant and mild climate, there are sandy and pebble beaches, and many mineral springs for treatment. Usually families with children, lovers and young people come here. It’s good for children here thanks to the developed infrastructure and safe descent into the sea.

There are also interesting excursion places - the Abrau-Durso wineries, the African Village, the Sukko Valley, the historical show "Rome", the Lago-Naki plateau, the paranormal area of Shapsuga, etc.

The reviews are different - the sea and sand are good, but the infrastructure is not very developed. Tourists do not like inconvenient transport, bad shops and a huge number of tourists. Service in hotels is often terrible, and there is evidence of this, so it is better to choose a place to stay very carefully. But for saving money and relaxing purely on the beach and in the sea, the place is quite suitable.

Yalta

Yalta is the main resort of Crimea. The beaches here are different, there are municipal ones with umbrellas and sunbeds for rent, and there are also paid VIP areas. The most popular are Central Beach and Massandrova Beach, there are a lot of people, but there is also entertainment for every taste.

Interesting sights include the Armenian Church, the Roffe Baths, the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, the city cable car, the Temple of St. John Chrysostom and the city embankment.

You can have fun in cafes and restaurants, at city attractions and in casinos. And in mid-August, City Day takes place here, and it is celebrated with great joy.

Reviews of Yalta are almost entirely positive - among the advantages, people note clean air, warm sea, excellent beaches and beautiful nature. The city is pleasant, accommodation is not too expensive and the mountains are truly amazing.

The negative aspects include rather high prices for entertainment and food, as well as a large number of people. There is also fraud.

Feodosia

Feodosia is one of the best Black Sea resorts located in Crimea. It attracts tourists with its developed infrastructure and pleasant climate, as well as a huge number of healing springs and mineral mud deposits.

The beach here stretches for 17 kilometers. The most popular place is “Kameshki”, ideally equipped for a comfortable stay. There are many cafes and eateries on the embankment, and there are entertainment centers “Lunapark” and “Africa”. A little to the north is Children's Beach with warm water and a gentle entrance to the water.

But the main advantage of Feodosia is its sanatoriums and boarding houses, where, thanks to mineral waters, mud and clean air, they are treated for a whole group of diseases.

Tourists love this resort precisely for its clean sea, golden sands, pleasant weather and fairly low prices. Families with children and the elderly especially often come here to improve their health. Some people don't like the city itself - it seems neglected and a little confusing, with not very developed infrastructure. Sometimes the water is cold, but this is rather an exception. The number of people in different reviews is different, some get to the peak, and for others the beaches seem deserted.

Evpatoria

Evpatoria is an ancient city in Crimea, whose history begins with the Greek Kerkinitis. Now this is one of the best resorts in Russia on the Black Sea, which attracts tourists with its sandy beaches. Mostly they are paid, but there are public ones, for example, New Beach or Central Park Beach. It is the New one that locals and tourists like - it is suitable for families with children and large groups. By the way, paid ones are not very expensive - only 20-30 rubles per person, but they have better infrastructure. Pay attention to the boarding house "Planet" and "Magnat". There is also a nudist area, “Sunny Paradise”.

This is not only a beach resort, but also an excellent balneological resort. There are mud baths, estuaries and a unique climate that combines elements of dry steppe and humid sea. Treatment here is comprehensive, not forgetting about physiotherapy and physical education.

Tourists generally like it here, especially the clean sea and beaches, but the service cannot be called good, especially if you focus on European resorts. City guests also don’t like artificially inflated prices. The city itself seems a bit dirty to some. But almost no one is bored here.

Tuapse

Unlike other Black Sea cities, Tuapse is not only tourist, but also industrial. Its zone includes such villages as Agoy, Dzhugba, Novomikhailovsky, Lermontovo, Nebug and a number of others.

The beaches here are mostly free; umbrellas and sun loungers are available for rent. They are small pebbles, and in some places they are sandy, for example, Orlenka in Lermontovo. In Tuapse itself, the most popular are Central and Primorsky.

There is a lot of entertainment around the beaches, there are amusement parks, cafes and restaurants. In the villages there are sanatoriums and boarding houses where they offer mud therapy, exercise therapy and massage.

And there is also very beautiful nature here - many forests and subtropical gardens.

On review sites, Tuapse has a rating of around four. The city itself is quite pleasant, but it feels like it is industrial - it is better to choose villages and relax there. The beaches are not very clean, but the nature is beautiful, and the prices are quite affordable. In general, as with everything, there are pros and cons.

Alushta

This city on the southern coast of Crimea is well protected from cold winds, so it is always warm here. And low humidity and constant sunshine add advantages even compared to other Black Sea resorts.

There are also attractions here - vineyards and beautiful nature, but tourists are mainly attracted by the beaches. Most often they are private, belonging to boarding houses. Municipal ones are paid, you will have to pay 100-150 rubles for entry. The main beach areas are located in the Professor's Corner.

Alushta is also ideal for treatment - climatotherapy, mineral water and mud therapy are available here.
