Where to live in pike perch on vacation. Rest in pike perch. Taxi. What features exist

Do not forget about your own safety and the safety of your personal belongings. By following basic rules of behavior - on the beach, in crowded places, in the forest, in the mountains, you can avoid minor and major troubles.

Since seaside resorts have always been centers of attraction for various types of scammers, one must not lose vigilance in places with large concentrations of tourists - at attractions, in markets, on embankments and promenades of seaside cities.

Almost all incidents on the territory of the Crimean mountains and forests happen due to the arrogance and recklessness of tourists. Therefore, participants in excursions and hikes in the mountain-forest zone should follow some simple rules:

  • Go to the mountains only with experienced guides who know the area, and if there are none nearby, stock up on large-scale maps of the area
  • You should not go on a mountain hike in the evening
  • You need to stick to the beaten path. Without experience and equipment, you should not try to overcome steep slopes, rock ledges, conquer peaks, descend into caves, etc.
  • Shoes must be sports, non-slip, regardless of the length of the route: sandals, heels and beach slippers are unacceptable
  • It is worth taking with you matches, a folding knife, a couple of meters of rope, spare clothes, basic medicines

So that your beach holiday is not overshadowed by troubles, you need to remember:

  • Holidays on “wild” beaches require caution: unequipped beaches abound with steep slopes to the water and overhanging cliffs
  • You should use special sunscreens, especially in the middle of the day, while in direct sunlight.

Features of communication with Crimean Tatars

Crimea is a multinational republic. It is mostly inhabited by Russians (58.3%), Ukrainians (24.3%) and Crimean Tatars (12.1%). The Constitution stipulates that there are three official languages in Crimea: Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar.

There are some nuances of communication with the Crimean Tatars, as part of the Crimean population professing Islam (Sunni), which tourists should keep in mind in order to avoid misunderstandings.

You need to understand that Crimean Tatars are very kind to old people and children. It is customary to address elders as “you,” even if the age difference between you and your opponent is very small. Interrupting the speaker is not acceptable. When invited to a Crimean Tatar house, shoes should be removed as close to the threshold as possible (the owners, as a rule, are very concerned about the cleanliness of the carpets that cover the entire area of the home). It is not customary to come to visit empty-handed: you can bring treats for children, coffee for older people, but in no case should you bring alcohol with you - this is considered impolite. The conversation is dominated by topics about health, discussion of current affairs and plans for the future. You can please the owners by showing familiarity with the Crimean Tatar culture, for example, by using the expressions “Alla verse” (“God willing”) or “kysmet olsa” (“if luck is with you”). You can praise the hostess by speaking well about the home environment.

Because Crimean Tatars often speak loudly and quickly, they may seem aggressive. However, expressiveness is just a feature of speech, like the Spaniards or Italians. Most Crimean Tatars are peace-loving people who are open to positive communication. Experience shows that talking on the street of a Crimean resort with a Crimean Tatar is much easier than with a Slav.

The Genoese fortress is an ancient fortification consisting of two tiers. The first, lower, tier is a massive outer wall, the height of which reaches eight meters and the thickness of two meters. This wall is fortified with fourteen battle towers, fifteen meters in height, as well as the Main Gate complex. The next, upper tier of the fortress consists of towers and the Consular Castle, which are connected by a wall. In addition, this includes the Watchtower complex, located at the very top. Over time, it became clear that the Genoese fortress was built conscientiously.

A holiday at this resort will definitely bring a lot of joyful, positive emotions and impressions.

Sudak has a fairly developed infrastructure of temporary residence places. In terms of the number of mini-hotels and guest houses, it ranks first among all resorts on the Crimean coast. So you won’t have any problems choosing an accommodation option. However, it is worth considering that not all hotels are located in close proximity to the beaches. There are three main lines of hotels along the coast that are in greatest demand. But, besides them, you can find other offers, more distant, but also cheaper. In general, a holiday in Sudak at prices for 2019, despite its high popularity, cannot be called quite expensive. Rather, this is the middle price segment. In remote areas, prices will be even lower, although the service infrastructure is strikingly different from traditional “hotel” areas.

How to get there

Sudak is located in the center of the southeastern coast of Crimea. It is equidistant from two large resort cities - Alushta and Feodosia - which are about 45 km away. The river of the same name flows through the city and flows into Sudak Bay. The western side borders on Fortress Mountain, and the eastern side faces Cape Alchak. The northern side is limited by the ridge of the Crimean ridge and is densely covered with oak and beech forests.

You can get to Sudak in quite a few different ways, the most convenient of which are:

  • take a train or fly to Simferopol, and from there take a direct bus to Sudak. The duration of the transfer takes approximately the same time as to Yalta;
  • get to Feodosia by train, and then by bus and minibus to Sudak. This route is considered the shortest and most acceptable;
  • take an intercity bus to Alushta, and from there move to Sudak.

general information

Sudak is a fairly large city in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which has official resort status. Its municipality includes a number of seaside villages, of which the most famous can be called Novy Svet. More than 15,000 people permanently live in the city. In addition to serving vacationers, there are two more main specializations in Sudak - winemaking and rose oil production. So, when you come on vacation to Sudak, you will have the opportunity to try this unique product.

The origin of the name is not known for certain. The main version is a translation from Scythian-Sarmatian, meaning “sacred”, “immaculate”, although there are other options.

The history of Sudak dates back to the 2nd century AD. It was founded by the Sugds, a people that was part of the Adyghe group. In the Middle Ages, Greeks and Italians began to settle in the city, contributing to the development of trade here. Sudak reached its heyday in the 13th century, becoming one of the main transit points of the Great Silk Road. The city became part of the Russian Empire in 1783, and since then winemaking began to actively develop here, and even the first winemaking school in Russia appeared.

What to do on vacation

On vacation in Sudak you can not only enjoy quartz sandy beaches. Thanks to its rich history, the city has preserved many interesting architectural structures from various periods. In addition, there is a rich natural landscape, and a paradise for lovers of fine wines. First of all, it is recommended to find time to visit:

  • Genoese fortress of the 11th century. A fairly well-preserved architectural object of that period, which will tell a lot of interesting things about the “trading” life of the city in the Middle Ages;
  • Cape Alchak. This is not just a cape, but an ancient coral reef, from where there is an excellent view of the bay and the Aeolian Harp - a rock in the sea with a large hole of natural origin;
  • the Sudak winery, part of the Massandra complex, which produces a number of fine wines;
  • Sudak water park - one of the most modern water attractions on the South Coast.

Beaches

The coastline along the central line of city blocks is quite demarcated. Many beaches are departmental and closed. Many have paid access. As such, there is no municipal free beach. Or rather, it is quite small (like the rest) and absolutely not equipped. So, it’s better to pay and use the services of one of the sanatorium beaches. In the suburb area, as well as on Cape Alchak and further towards Feodosia, there are many excellent wild beaches. True, it’s longer to get there from city blocks.

Latest reviews about holidays in Sudak

Good afternoon to everyone who is planning their vacation in Crimea! There is a large selection of offers - hotels and private inns! I recommend not to waste time searching and choosing when there are proven places that I would like to recommend for relaxation! We have stayed at the Karadeniz Hotel 3 times already, and we hope not the last! Excellent combination of price and quality! Friendly hosts who offer free soft drinks upon arrival! Move in as quickly as possible! The rooms are clean, there is air conditioning, TV and everything you need, you can cook yourself, but I recommend local cuisine!!! The female chefs cook superbly, everything is very tasty and varied, according to your order, your suggestions on the menu are welcome! At first we tried to eat in different places on the embankment, but... no comparison, we couldn’t find better cuisine than here! The hotel has a bar, excellent red wine, chacha, beer! As for the sea: we went to Medvezhonok beach, the water there is the cleanest, and if you pack up and go to Meganom beach (the price of a bus ride is 50 rubles, you can also take a taxi), then this is aerobatics! the bus passes every hour, you just need to ask the locals where the stop is. We compared prices in stores located near our home and in the market in Sudak, there is not much difference. It’s better to buy fruit in the evening, when you go for a walk on the embankment, there you can meet local residents selling fruit, you can easily negotiate a price with them! I recommend taking a walk along the embankment in the evening, there is live music everywhere, but don’t let your guard down, keep your money away. During the day, be sure to go to the Genoese fortress and the water park! In general, 2-3 days in Sudak and you will find out everything yourself, and also... don’t hesitate to ask the hotel owners Aider and Bekir, they will be happy to tell you everything and answer any question! Have a nice holiday!!!
