The beginning of Greater Yalta is a cozy Crimean Tatar city Gurzuf. Here the mountain descends to the sea Ayu-dag, or Bear Mountain. The territory of Greater Yalta ends in Forose.

The total length of Greater Yalta is 70 km, and within its borders there are a large number of interesting objects and beautiful places. If you are a tourist, you will need not so much a map of Yalta with street names, but rather a more general map of Yalta with attractions located in different towns and villages.

If you need a detailed map of Yalta with streets, you can choose modern electronic maps. The general organization of the city has a unique system of its kind. Two rivers run from the mountains to the sea: Uchan-Su (Waterfall) And Derekoyka (Fast). They run down from opposite hills, dividing the city into two parts. Not every street map of Yalta will give you a good idea of how to get from one corner of it to another.

Even if you don’t have the most detailed map of Yalta with streets in front of you, you will notice the Yuzhnoberezhnoe Highway right away. It covers the entire perimeter of the city (except for the south, where the embankment stretches along the sea), as if wrapping it in a beautiful ribbon.   2. Three major transport junctions . Firstly, this is the intersection of Kirov and Morskaya streets. Dmitrieva Street also begins here, along which you can get to the sea. Morskaya is a street intended only for pedestrians. Another important point is the connection between the streets. Khalturina and st. Rabochaya, and the intersection with Yubsh. Yalta is divided conditionally into western and eastern parts, and only in this place can you get from one side to the other, without going onto the Yuzhnoberezhnoe ring highway. The third key transport interchange is the bridge over the river. Fast (another name for Derekoyka). Along this river there are two parallel streets (Moskovskaya and Kyiv), here they connect closest to the sea;
  3. One Way . Many city streets are one-way. For example, Krasnoarmeyskaya, as well as Moscow and Kiev, which were mentioned above. Kirova Street is complicated. Some of its sections have two-way traffic, while others have one-way traffic, and in different directions. Here, motorists will be helped by knowledge of Yalta, a city map with streets and a good navigator;
  4. 9 pedestrian streets . Most of them are located in close proximity to the sea. The pearl of Yalta is the Embankment, beautiful, sparkling and bright. Apart from it, you cannot drive on the street. Chekhov, Morskaya, Palmiro Togliatti, Ignatenko, Pushkinskaya, Ekaterininskaya streets, as well as Radin Square, Chernomorsky and Narodny lanes.

The city is not very large in area or population. There are only 78 thousand inhabitants here, but many tourists come during the season. Yalta is located in a spacious “amphitheater” of natural origin - from the land side the city is surrounded by a semi-ring of mountains: to the north and northwest of the city passes the Ai-Petrinskaya Yayla - a small part of the Main Range of the Crimean Mountains; to the southwest of Yalta rises Mount Mogabi (804 meters), which has a cone-shaped appearance, the southern slope of which reaches the sea with Cape Ai-Todor; to the northeast there is a spur of the Nikitskaya yayla (peak Avinda - 1473 meters), which ends at Cape Nikitsky (Martyan). In Yalta itself, the Hill of Glory rises, and nearby is Darsan Hill. Further, behind the hills, there is the Iograph spur.
