At the moment I am sitting in this very Bahia Del Duque hotel in the Mirador building. Apart from flaunting and showing off that this is the coolest hotel on the island, there really is nothing. A third of the staff does not know even three words of English. For two days I asked for a robe to be brought to my room. At first we served breakfast in Mirador, then they decided that there weren’t enough of us here and moved breakfast to the main building. In the morning it turns out to be a 500-meter run to the restaurant and the same amount back. And also a run along the long corridor to the elevator - we are on the 5th floor....

The hotel is very, very beautiful. But! It's corny, cruelly pretentious and extremely expensive. Amazingly beautiful area and excellent layout of the hotel. Swimming pools (more than one), fountains, peacocks and other living creatures. Good cuisine, several restaurants. What struck me, with all the chic and splendor, is the strange number of rooms - the standards may well have cracked walls and peeling wallpaper...(((For the money that is paid for this hotel - no good. Excellent hotel! I rested there for two weeks at the beginning of August. The Junior Suite room is very pleasant, cozy, with a huge balcony that could accommodate two tables, two armchairs, two sun loungers and a large sofa; There was an excellent view of both the sea and the mountains.
