Do-it-yourself magnetic fishing game. Game "Fishing" - we make it with our own hands How to make a fishing rod for playing fishing

Svetlana Gurova "FetroCreativity from Svetlana"

I want to show you my new game from felt. I sewed it for my six year old daughter.

This magnetic fishing for advanced users), or rather for older children.

I came up with the rules for this game on the fly, or rather while I was sewing it, taking into account the interest of my six-year-old.

And I think that they are not final)

Anyway a game turned out to be multifunctional.

The game has dolphins, sea turtles, crabs, crocodiles, whales, seahorses, stingrays, and a variety of fish. And they all live in families and are friendly with each other)

Each family consists of father, mother and baby.

Get to know them)

1 game option. Classical magnetic fishing. A powerful neodymium is glued inside each sea / river inhabitant magnet, and "hook" is the second magnet. All that remains is to wish you “Good fishing”.

Option 2 for children who want to learn mental arithmetic. This is the main goal that I pursued when creating the game. My daughter counts well, but it seems to me slowly.

Playfully we'll fix this)

For this version of the game you need cards with numbers (I will introduce new ones as necessary, thereby complicating the count)

We turn the cards “face down” and “stuff” them with adults)

There are pockets on the back of moms and dads, so we insert cards into them without looking at the numbers.

Now we turn over all the players (39 pcs) take fishing rods and start to fish until we catch everyone.

We have a 3 minute hourglass, so we sometimes let's play against the clock. After these minutes the game stops. And the scoring begins.

A game it becomes more dynamic for a while)

Retrieving the cards, my daughter rejoices at every point she catches)

If you remember, only adults have cards. This does not mean that caught babies do not bring points to the player. Bring) Only the number of points can be found using playing bones / or several pieces.

I almost forgot to tell you: for every family caught (parents + baby) the participant has the right to receive additional points. We throw 3 dice and find out their number.

During the game, each of us tries to gather the family and, if possible, prevent the other from doing so. A very exciting moment) It’s not always possible to catch the intended fish. You are “hunting” for one, and a completely different one gets hooked)

Now we can summarize. Let's sum it up (numbers on card + points for kids + points for families / y) .

We reveal the winner of the round.

This could have been the end of the game, but we decided to continue it and “cash out” the points. We have these felt coins. Prepared for playing in the store)

"Fished"35 points, get 35 rubles from the bank

If you want more play, then round 2 begins. We return all participants to the game (39 pcs.)+ enters

new member: cute penguin Pinya.

Pinka is a glove toy.

Loser in round 1, puts Pinechka on his arm and fishing whole round with an assistant)

This is not as simple as it might seem at first glance.

Now we need to equalize the chances between the participants. Therefore, the winner of round 1 takes the fishing rod in his left hand)

Option 3. A game on attention and visual memory. Only kids can participate (13 pcs) and Pinechka.

Kids sit on the table

Participant No. 1 remembers the location of each baby and leaves the room for a minute.

At this time, participant No. 2 and Pinya put 2 - 5 babies in a pocket or swap 2 - 4 and invite the teacher. No. 1. He must remember which of the kids is missing or which of them has changed their location.

We will make this version of the game more difficult over time.

Stored felt box game

It's so fun and relaxed playfully we plan to speed up oral counting)

Thank you all for your attention!

Didactic game for the formation of elementary mathematical concepts “Fishing” Didactic game for the formation of elementary mathematical concepts “FISHING”. Material for the game: a fishing rod at the end of a string.

Didactic game for the development of fine motor skills made from felt “Who eats what?” I present to your attention a sensory aid made by myself.

Purpose of the game: Breathing training to take a deep breath and hold your breath; Fixing the letters of the alphabet, dividing them into consonants and vowels.

Didactic game “Fishing” Objectives: to reinforce in children the concepts of “big - small”, “more - less - the same”, practice counting.

Didactic game: “Smart Fishing” Goal: development of phonemic hearing, automation of the sounds “r” and “r*”. Material: fairy-tale characters.

1. First, draw several fish of different shapes on paper. Let's cut out each fish from paper.

2. Place the prepared fish figures on colored cardboard and circle them twice. Let's cut out these figures.

3. Cut out decorations for the fish from colored paper. These can be stripes, circles, triangles, etc. Let's glue these decorations to the fish figures.

4. Now we will glue the figures in pairs, placing a paper clip between them.

5. When all the figures are glued, we will fasten them with additional paper clips and let the glue dry.

6. While the glue dries, let's make a fishing rod. Take a bamboo stick and tie a satin ribbon to one end. Attach a magnet to the other end of the ribbon. I had a magnetic button, so I first attached a paperclip to it, and then tied a ribbon to the paperclip. We lightly burn the ends of the ribbon with a match so that they do not unravel or unravel.

7. On a bamboo stick, one end is sharp. To secure it and prevent the ribbon from slipping, lubricate the tip with glue and put a small bead on it. Let's wait for the glue to dry.

8. All that remains is to remove the paper clips from the fish and draw eyes and mouths on the fish.

The Fishing game is ready.

Come up with your own rules of the game. For example, you can assign a certain number of points for each fish (for green - 3 points, for red - 4, for yellow - 6, for blue - 7) and catch the fish in turn, and then count who has the most points.

Place the fish in a dry bowl or place them on the floor and you can start fishing.

This way you can practice math and compete.

Oh, I mentioned that in 2014 I was very little able to make toys for Egorka. This year I have completely different plans in this regard, so I'm starting the year with a new toy for my son and a small mini-master class for anyone who wants to make one for their children.

First, I’ll show you what I came up with, tell you how else you can make a similar game, and then I’ll list ways to play with this simple toy that will help you make the most of its capabilities.

Let me start with the fact that, according to tradition, making this toy has become another hymn against perfectionism and, of course, I simplified my task as much as possible, in particular, to make the fish I used felt with a pre-applied pattern, but more on that later.

How to sew a magnetic fishing game with your own hands

First let's tackle the sea, aquarium or pool - depending on where you want to fish in your game. I have this sea. It must be said that for the magnetic game “Fishing” it is not at all necessary to make any kind of base. You can play by simply scattering the fish on the floor, throwing them into an empty basin or box, spreading a piece of blue cloth on the floor or table, etc. But my perfectionism has not yet been completely defeated, so I still wanted to make a “house” for the game, in which, moreover, it is convenient to store fish.

I came across different options online - some sew a bag to store all the game elements, others make a sea in the form of a flat folder that folds and fastens with Velcro or a button. I settled on the voluminous version - mainly because my fish also turned out plump and voluminous.

To make the “sea” I used hard felt (preventing the question, I ordered felt, including with prints), on the sides I additionally reinforced it with a padding polyester lining on the outside. For decoration, I took scraps of soft felt, from which I cut out something like seaweed using curly scissors.

Since real seaweed can't grow along a ruler, I didn't spend time basting, I just pinned the pieces and machine stitched them. Then I also stitched the felt to the lining with a zigzag seam, and scorched the edges a little with a lighter (so that the lining would not fluff).

If I had a real master class, I would. Of course, I had to tell you how to correctly calculate the size of the bottom for our “sea”. But I myself don’t know how this is done “according to science.” I simply measured the length of the resulting circle with a centimeter, then placed the centimeter on a piece of the yellow color I had chosen for the bottom, in the shape of a “like ellipse”, outlined the resulting figure with a tailor’s marker and cut it out. Horror, of course, but everything worked out.

I chose to sew the bottom to the walls manually - firstly, I can’t really imagine how to do it exactly on a machine, secondly, my mother urgently needed the machine, and thirdly, the layer of fabric was already quite thick - I’m afraid my old lady could I wouldn't be able to cope.

This is how the bucket turned out. Yes, I forgot to say that its height is exactly half a sheet of A3 felt, and its length, accordingly, is equal to twice the length of such a sheet. I just cut the sheet in half lengthwise - here's how easy it is to sew DIY magnetic fishing game when there is no ruler in the house :)

Tired of the mess in your nursery? Tired of endlessly collecting toys for your child?

Now a few words about fish. As I said, I used felt with a pattern on it. I cut out fish and other sea creatures with a slight allowance, traced the resulting figures on plain felt and sewed the parts together by hand. I lightly stuffed the fish with padding polyester, and in the area of the mouth I sewed small metal loops into the figures - in sewing supply stores these are usually called “sew-on skirt sewing hooks.”

Just be careful - be sure to check whether such a loop is magnetic, because I came across several hooks that were not magnetic. I had to rip open several fish and sew in other loops. They say that you can also use ordinary paper clips for this purpose. I only had plastic paper clips at home, so this option was out of the question.

Well, the last element magnetic game "Fishing"- these are, of course, fishing rods. We got one fishing rod from a similar game in which you had to use a fishing rod to catch insects from a wooden insert frame (a strange idea). I made the second one by sewing a case from black felt for an ordinary wooden pencil. I used a thin string and a magnet from a broken refrigerator magnet.

There are 2 subtleties here. Firstly, the neat round magnets that I specifically bought for this purpose turned out to be too weak - they did not lift even the smallest fish. Secondly, even a strong magnet wrapped in thin felt no longer reacted to the fish, so I had to cover it with ordinary cotton. In the photo, my homemade fishing rod lies in the sea along with the fish.

This is how the game turned out. It must be said that fish for magnetic “Fishing” can be made much simpler:

  • you can simply cut them out of thick felt or other non-fraying fabric and put paper clips on them;
  • you can cut fish from colored cardboard, foam rubber, colored plastic folders for papers, household cellulose sponges;
  • mold from for modeling;
  • you can print realistic images of fish, cut them out from magazines, coloring books;
  • draw it yourself and laminate it...

So the lack of fabric, inability or unwillingness to sew cannot be considered a sufficient reason to deny yourself the pleasure of delighting your baby with a new toy.

But a possible argument “against” may be the reluctance to waste time on a one-time and uninteresting game for the child.

Here again I disagree, because you can come up with many games with the magnetic game "Fishing".

Magnetic Fishing Games

  1. You can just fish for speed- two, three, four. The main thing is to put enough fish into your sea and give all the fishermen the same fishing rods so that there are no offenses.
  2. Can fish to order— our version of the game is perfect for this purpose. I tell Yegora what sea creature he should catch, he looks for it and tries to catch it. If you use more schematic images of fish for the game, you can “order” a fish of a certain color or size. It is easy to stick any identification marks on fish, especially those made of cardboard or foam rubber - numbers, letters, colored spots, geometric shapes and any other symbols.
  3. If you have pasted numbers, you can agree that they indicate the weight of the fish, and arrange the competition is no longer based on the number of fish caught, but on the total weight of the catch. By the way, you can also involve a child in the process of sticking “scales” so that he can help you correlate the weight and size of each individual (fish of the same size can be assigned the same weight, fish of a larger size can be assigned a larger weight, etc.).
  4. If you pasted letters on the fish, you can again catch certain “letters” to order, you can pull out the fish and, seeing the letter pasted on it, quickly pronounce the name of the fish with this letter u. If you don’t know, your opponent gets your catch. If there are quite a lot of fish, offer the fishermen make up words from your catch. Whoever comes up with the longest word wins. Or you can immediately catch fish with specific letters in order to be the first to form a certain word, for example, “fish”.
  5. If you have glued colored geometric shapes onto the fish, you can use the cubes from (or make your own 2 cubes - one with images of flowers, the other with figures) and catch fish according to certain characteristics. The fishermen take turns throwing the dice, and then look for and catch a suitable fish. For such a game, you can use any other characteristics, for example, color and size, figure and number, combination of numbers and letters, etc.
  6. You can prepare a set of paired fish for fishing and fish in pairs- you caught a red snapper, which means your child should also catch the same fish. If another fish is caught on the hook, it goes to you.
  7. You can fish in a certain sequence. If you labeled the fish with letters or numbers, everything is clear. You can catch fish by size - first you need to catch the largest fish, then smaller ones, then even smaller ones, and so on until the smallest one. You can add an element memory training and set the catching sequence verbally, and then ask the child to complete this task from memory. Start with a short sequence of 3-4 elements, for example, "flounder - stingray - shrimp - seahorse", and gradually increase the number of elements in the sequence.

In general, as you can see, games with magnetic fishing game you can come up with endless ideas. I would be glad if you share your game options in the comments. And all I have to do is remind you of one more thing that will help you enjoy the proposed games in just a few minutes.

Today I want to talk about one of the homemade toys that I made - this is the game “Fishing” (we called it “Feed the Bear”).

In order to make such a toy, you will need some multi-colored cardboard, tape, a hole punch, a pencil or stick of the appropriate size, a stationery knife, thread, paper clip, colored tape or colored paper, an unnecessary box and 5 minutes of free time. I made a toy while my son was working on his cottage cheese.

What will happen as a result? An exciting game with which you can develop fine motor skills, eye, perseverance, and also learn colors and quantities.

So let's get started. Cut out fish from colored cardboard. I got 3 fish each in red, blue, green and yellow.

Use a hole punch to make holes in the area of the fish's head. Try to make holes away from the edge so that they do not tear during play.

We turn the box into a sea-ocean. I used blue tape. It can easily be replaced with regular colored paper. Now we make slits in the lid with a stationery knife, the width corresponding to the size of our fish.

We insert our fish into the slots.

All that remains is to make a fishing rod. I used a pencil, paper clip and tape for this purpose. The result was not very aesthetically pleasing in appearance, but it was quite a working tool for fishing.

The game is ready - you can go fishing. I’ll say right away that in my version, even I don’t manage to get the hook into the hole the first time, so make the thread shorter. And Egorka immediately guessed how to simplify his task. This is how we played - we fed fish of different colors to different animals (at first there was a white Arctic bear, but then we decided not to leave his friends hungry).

Nadezhda Belikova

A game " Fishing" - one of the favorites in our group. We made it with the children who had already graduated.

Store-bought fishing rods and spinning rods did not last long. The metal brackets flew off the fish. And plastic bulk fish are very heavy for fishing rods with magnets. Only the "aquariums" remained. A everyone loved to fish. Then I invited the children to make the fish themselves, and my parents and I made the fishing rods.

I made the fishing rods simpler. I cleared the bark from the willow twigs I collected during the walk. I tied a nylon thread, which is used by shoemakers. It is strong and does not tangle. The second end of the thread was secured to a magnet. Use a hot awl to make a hole, drop a drop of Moment glue and thread the thread into the hole using a pointed match. Let it dry and break off the excess matches. Holds up great.

One dad made an exclusive fishing rod - he carved a hook and attached a magnet to it. The children appreciated this fishing rod.

The fish were made from colored cardboard. We folded it in half, put metal plates inside that I cut out of a tin can and glued them together. We drew fish on a stencil and cut them out. For strength, they were covered with tape.

The game is ready.

This year I decided to replenish my arsenal of fish. The computer makes it possible to make them more natural and introduce children to fish of our reservoirs. By making blanks of different sizes, we give the opportunity to consolidate the concepts of “large”, “medium”, “smaller-larger”, to create sets, grouping them by size and type of fish. Compare sets, and also use them as counting material.

Begin. We find the necessary images of fish, copy them, select the size. For each fish, make a copy and rotate it using “rotate - flip from right to left.” Print it out.

We cut out the blanks. Coat one part of the fish with pencil glue, place a pin on the workpiece and glue the second part.

Let's check how a fish is caught with a magnet.

Now, for safety and practicality, let’s laminate our fish. I do this with an iron. We put the fish in film for lamination. Heat the iron on the “silk” setting and iron the workpieces on both sides.

We cut out the fish and iron the edges for greater strength. The fish are ready.

IN " Fishing“Everyone plays, both boys and girls. The caught fish is boiled, fried, and fed to the animals.

Another value of this games in that that by folding it, children wind the thread onto a fishing rod, rotating the fishing rod in their palms. Great hand massage. And when playing, hand-eye coordination develops.

Try it, it's interesting and functional.

Good day, friends and colleagues! I present to your attention the game guide “Fishing”. Goal: formation in younger preschoolers.

I bring to your attention the didactic game “Ice Slogans”, which we are playing on the street now. This game was created as part of a competition.

To make a play aid, you need materials and tools: a colored panel, colored felt from which I cut out bows, socks, etc.

Today I present to your attention the didactic game “Lay Out According to the Scheme”, which my middle school children play with great pleasure.

Purpose: develops imagination, fine motor skills and eye. My guys really love to invent something, make things, and that’s why they have to do it all the time.

To create a didactic game we will need: Letters-sounds printed on thick cardboard (red letters indicate vowels.
