Webcam Sharm Spruce Sheikh Coral Bay. Coral Bay beach webcam in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. What is personal data

Egypt has many attractive beaches for relaxation, to which thousands of tourists flock every year. People come here from different countries and continents. Egypt has always had a lot to offer tourists, and its local cuisine and a huge variety of entertainment are not all, clear blue water and white sand, this is what you can only dream of in cold winters. Today you can see how busy some beaches are in different seasons without leaving your home; all you need to do is have a device for playing video signals and a good Internet connection on hand. Coral Bay Beach is actively broadcast through a webcam installed there; this broadcast will present the territory of the facility in front of you in the best possible way. The webcam works 24 hours a day online, the player can be enlarged on a computer, then the coastline and the purity of the sea become better visible in the picture. Some users use the broadcast to find out in real time the weather conditions on the beach or the number of vacationers. The frame includes a narrow strip of shore, where tourists place their sun loungers. If you look at the picture a little more carefully, it becomes clear that the descent to the sea here is ideal, so gentle it is well suited for children. A little greenery from the local vegetation contrasts brightly with the white sand and azure water and you have the perfect vacation spot. When choosing a place to go on vacation, don’t be lazy and watch the broadcast during the day; at night, the beach is not illuminated, and the camera does not have a night shooting mode, so it will be of little use to you. You can activate the video at any convenient time, no matter what country in the world you are currently in, as long as you have a high-quality Internet connection.

This Sharm el-Sheikh webcam is installed on the territory of the luxurious Coral Sea Sensatori hotel in the Ras Nazran area. In the foreground of the webcam you can see the hotel's large circular pool and two smaller pools on the sides. The resort of Sharm el-Sheikh is suitable for holidays all year round, but recently, even during the high summer season in Egypt, you may notice that there are not very many vacationers in the hotel and even around the main pool there are many empty sun loungers and umbrellas. And during winter, sometimes it seems that the hotel is completely empty and only the service staff rarely passes in front of the webcam. In real. There are tourists vacationing at the hotel, but there really aren’t as many of them as there were a few years ago.

>Despite that. that in such a large hotel only 10-20 people can relax at the same time, the service remains at a very high level and all guests are satisfied with their vacation here. Since the hotel is located in Ras Nasrani Bay, all hotel guests can enjoy the underwater world of the Red Sea. Right next to the hotel there is a unique coral reef, which is considered one of the best in Egypt. The hotel beach is quite long and sandy, but it is better to swim in special slippers. The Coral Sea Sensator Hotel also has its own long feast. If you look closely at this webcam, you can see it in the central part of the beach (the blue pier). Due to fairly strong winds, this hotel is not the best place for a beach holiday in winter.

Coral Sea Sensator Hotel is located just 4 kilometers from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport (also called Ras Nazran). Thanks to good night lighting, you can watch this webcam, which is provided by the service, even after dark. At the top of the camera playback window you can see the current time for Egypt and what the current air temperature is in Sharm el-Sheikh in the Ras Nazran area. And if you want to expand the webcam to full screen, use the special button in the lower right corner. Enjoy your viewing and relaxation in Egypt on the shores of the Red Sea!

One of the most famous resorts in Egypt, which is very popular among our compatriots, is Sharm El-Sheikh. Situated at the southernmost tip of the Sinai Peninsula on the Red Sea coast, it is an ideal holiday destination, especially for those interested in diving and snorkeling. For those who don’t want to go far, but want to, as soon as they get out of bed and reach the sea, put on their fins and go explore the underwater world, Sharm El-Sheikh is the perfect place. After all, at this resort the coral reef actually approaches the very edge of the water, so all this beauty will be right under your feet. All that remains is to choose the right bay and hotel in it.

Sharm stretches from northeast to southwest for 30 kilometers along the western shore of the Gulf of Aqaba. From the southwest the city borders on the Ras Mohammed National Park at the extreme southern point of the Sinai Peninsula, and on the northeast - from the Nabq National Reserve.

Sharm el-Sheikh areas and main bays

Sharm el-Sheikh consists of several picturesque areas built along the coast, around the main bays. They are connected into a single whole - Charm - by the main street Peace Road.

Within the city there are a number of bays and more than 250 hotels. In order not to get lost when choosing a vacation spot, I will try to tell you in this essay about the most interesting bays from the point of view of snorkeling, as well as about those hotels that best meet the price/quality criterion.

Main hotels in Sharm. For snorkeling enthusiasts, it is preferable to choose a hotel among those located on the coastline.

Let's start from the northern bay of Nabq Bay and gradually descend to the southernmost bay of El Maya, while analyzing the bays themselves, the hotels in them and draw a conclusion where it is worth going and where not.

Map of the bays of the northern and central parts of Sharm El Sheikh

Main hotels in these bays

1. NORTH. NABC BAY (longest pontoons)

Nabq is the most remote bay of Sharm El Sheikh. It is located approximately 25 km north of the city center and 10 km from the airport towards the Nabq National Nature Reserve and opposite the island of Tiran. Recently, this is one of the fastest growing areas of the resort, with more and more new hotels being built here.

Most of the beaches in this bay have a fairly wide line of shallow water, reaching 900 meters in some places! Almost all hotels in Nabq Bay have pontoons that lead to the depths.

In Nabq there are many excellent 5 and 4 star hotels, designed for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle and for a family holiday with children. Since there are certain problems with the sea here, hotels compensate for this with excellent service and food, as well as swimming pools and water slides. Some beaches have small areas cleared of coral - there are good sandy beaches.

Jaz Mirabel Hotel Complex (5*, 4*). The beach is shallow water about 600 meters, there is no pontoon, there is a small sandy area.

Tiran sharm 5*

Coral Sea Resort 5*. The sea is shallow and the entrance is sandy, up to the corals and a depth of 500 meters.

Regency Plaza 5*

Royal Albatros Moderna 5*. The beach is sandy and the entrance to the sea is also shallow 800 m to the pontoon.

Laguna Vista Beach ResortAndLaguna Vista Garden

Since Nabq is an open bay, there are often winds, and there are also strong currents in the sea, high and low tides often occur, so the black flag (ban on swimming) is often displayed in the first half of the day!

This bay is definitely not suitable for snorkeling enthusiasts!

2. Ras Nasrani and Sharks Bay ( Opposite the airport, N oho square)

The map shows all the hotels in these bays. Red squares indicate snorkeling and diving spots.

The main hotels, not very expensive, but quite decent, which I would recommend for lovers and connoisseurs of the underwater world:

Coral Beach Rotana Resort Montazah

Tiran Island

Melia Sinai

Melia Resort

Savita Resort & Spa

Sol Y Mar Sharks Bay

Hilton Sharms Dreams Resort

"CORAL Sea Sensatori";

Hotels Baron Palms and Baron Resort more comfortable and, accordingly, more expensive, although the sea and reefs are the same as those of previous hotels

Bays of Ras Nasrani (also called Montaza) and White Knight ) are the next bays from Nabq Bay to the south, and they are located approximately 5 km from the airport and 17 km from Naama Bay.Due to its proximity to the airport, aircraft noise can sometimes be heard here. In these bays there are wonderful 5 and 4 star hotels with an excellent level of service.

In the Montaza area, beaches suitable for lovers of the underwater world begin - corals grow here right next to the shore, and the pontoons are not long - no more than 100 meters. Entry into the sea is usually only possible from a pontoon, immediately to the depths. The coastal area at Ras Nasrani and White Knight is flat. Therefore, hotels here do not bother you with a lot of stairs.

In addition, I will give a brief description of several more hotels:

Jaz Belvedere 5*. On one side of the pontoon there is a coral reef, on the other side there is a small sandy area, but the sand is coarse - you should not fall on it - there is a high probability of getting ripped off! Walking and lying down are normal. There is also sand in the water - no slippers required (there are more children splashing in the water than fish!) There are corals there, but children cannot reach them, they start at a depth of 2 meters or more.

Sol sharm 4* and Sol Cyrene 4* shared beach with Jazz Belvedere, see above.

Baron Resort 5*. Beach - corals near the shore, there is a pontoon. There is a small sandy area cleared of corals.

Sheraton Sharm 5*- here the entrance to the sea has been cleared of corals. A decent five. Gorgeous coral reef.

The best reef in these bays is between Savita before Barona or even before Sensatori!

Ras Nasrani And Ras Bob- excellent places for diving and snorkeling. Just be careful of the currents. There, in some places it sometimes picks up well, but the corals are gorgeous. Starting from Bob's Ras and throughout Ras Nasrani, and beyond, there are a variety of corals - hard and soft, depths of 3-4-5-6-8 meters, there are sandy islands from 3 to 6 meters and deeper, but then it goes wall. So don’t worry, there will be something to see and photograph, and there is often good wildlife there: eagle rays and barracudas, whale sharks (when the water is warmer), Napoleons and trevally, as well as turtles. And small coral fish are simply teeming. Great places for snorkeling!

The reef near the hotel is also a good place for snorkeling Melia Sinay, as well as adjacent hotels - Savita, Baron, Coral Beach Montazah etc. In addition, the hotel beach Melia also used by other hotels such as Tiran Island. This is convenient for those who want to save on a trip and go mainly for good snorkeling.

Thanks to the fact that the hotel Melia Sinay built relatively recently (in 2004), the reef near the hotel is still in good condition, although, of course, crowds of tourists do their dirty work.

Like many hotels Sharm El Sheikh, here, immediately beyond the reef bank, great depths begin. This contributes to good water clarity and the presence of large specimens of some fish. For a person who wants to combine excellent snorkeling with the proximity of civilization, coupled with an affordable cost of vacation, this place is the best option.

White Knight Bay where the chain hotels are located Savoy, Concorde, Iceland View, Hilton Sharks Bay

IN Sharm el-Sheikh there is a small bay with a proud and beautiful name White Knight, which translated means White knight. It is well protected from wind and waves, thereby attracting a lot of attention from avid divers.A deep picturesque canyon, starting at a depth of 8-10 meters and going into a depth of approximately 40-50 meters with its steep ledges, is the main underwater attraction of the bay White Knight.

There is one very interesting cave here, located at a depth of 27 meters, but beginners cannot conquer it. Many of the divers follow a route that takes in the canyon's highlights before returning back to the boat. If you are interested in underwater sports, be sure to visit these places, and you will not regret it!

Shark's Bay (beware, port!)

Sharks Bay is a relatively new resort area in Sharm, which is famous for its luxurious coral reef and upscale hotels.

The bay is located approximately 8 km from the airport and 8 km north of Naama Bay. The hotels here are located on a hill, so their area is not level, with many stairs, some of which have an elevator leading to the beach.

Here, too, corals grow close to the shore; hotel pontoons are usually not long. The entrance to the sea is from the pontoon immediately to the depths. Sharks Bay mainly has good four-star hotels that are suitable for all categories of tourists.

In winter there is practically no wind here, which is important for lovers of winter recreation.

Pasha Bay Bay,Tiger bay, Coral Bay, where are the Domina hotels located?

Coast El Pasha(this area is also called Coral Bay) stretches from Sharks Bay to Naama Bay. The hotels here are located approximately 10 km from the airport and 5 km from the center of Naama Bay. Rich coral reefs usually grow near the shore, so entry into the sea is only possible from a pontoon immediately to the depths, and the hotels are located on a flat area.

On the coast El Pasha There are many excellent 5 star hotels of a very high level, as well as good 4 star hotels. Those who are interested in the underwater world come here, good service is important, and they also need to be close to the entertainment center.

Hotel complex Domina Coral Bay (5*, 4*). Beach - corals start at the shore, there is a pontoon and a small sandy area cleared of corals. Nice reef for snorkeling. Every day you swim and new and varied landscapes open up. The main thing is to be able to see them

The following hotels are located in this bay:

Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort & Spa 5*

Sharm Plaza…

Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh 5* (Hyatt Regency Sharm el Sheikh 5*) -

Bay view Gardens Bay From the hotel Charm Plaza. The first hotel is Inter-Continental, behind it in the greenery is located Hyatt Regency

All hotels have a very beautiful private reef.. A good beach with convenient entry into the sea and excellent snorkeling. We met a lot of Napoleons, lethrins, moray eels, turtles, crocodiles and other exotics.

3.Center. Naama Bay ( Sharma center, port)

Naama Bay (“Elder Bay”) is the oldest and most comfortable part of Sharm el-Sheikh, a continuous series of hotels in two or three lines. Along the entire beach of Naama Bay there is a pedestrian street with restaurants, cafes, discos and shops.

Naama Bay is the very center of Sharm. A closed bay 7 km from the airport. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops and stalls, discos and night bars, beautiful hookah and delicious fish restaurants, 2 Duty Free stores, a large Carrefour supermarket where prices are fixed.

There are 3 and 4 star hotels in Naama Bay, and there are also several five-star ones. Holidays in this bay are perfect for young people.
But at the same time, you can come to Naama with small children - this is where there are many beautiful beaches with a convenient sandy entrance to the sea.

Iberotel Lido 4*

Cataract Layalina Resort 4*

Hilton Fayrouz Resort 4*

Novotel Beach 4*

Sonesta Beach 5*

Movenpick 5*

Second line

Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort 5* (beach far)

Hilton Dreams 5*

Noria Resort 4*

Ghazala Gardens 4*

Amarante Garden Palms 4*

Novotel Palm 5*

Helnan Marina Hotel 4*

Oriental Rivoli 4*

Fantazia 3*

Sharm Cliff Resort 4*

I do not recommend going to Naama Bay for those who want to fully enjoy the coral reefs - here they are far from the shore. The Egyptians themselves, who are involved in diving, unanimously say: the closer to Naama, the poorer the reef, because... Historically, everything here has already been “trampled down”.

4. South. Ras Um Sid and Hadaba Bay

Ras Umm el Sid Bay is located near Naama Bay and is famous for its coral gardens full of marine life. The sea here is extremely interesting for divers due to the beauty of the underwater world and the large number of marine inhabitants. The coast is mostly steep, the entrance to the sea is steep and there is great depth.

Hadaba, a residential area of Sharm el Sheikh, located on a hill, appeared in the 60s of the last century as a military garrison just above the Bedouin settlement, which is now called the “Old City”

Ras Um el Sid Bay belongs to the Hadaba area, and is located just south of its main residential buildings. Hadaba is located approximately 6 km south of Naama Bay and 20 km from the airport

There are many entertainment facilities, shops, restaurants and cafes in the area. The new elite shopping and business district of Sharma - Il Mercato, a dolphinarium, the famous entertainment complex “1001 Nights”, as well as the Bora Bora water park are also located here.

In the Hadaba area, coral reefs of extraordinary beauty grow close to the shores, which here are mostly high and steep, and the entrance to the sea is also steep and immediately deep. Therefore, almost every hotel on the beach has pontoons, which are not long here. However, closer to Ras Um el Sid there are several beaches with a sandy entrance to the sea.

The following hotels are located on the first line:

  1. Dreams Beach Resort 5* (Dreams Beach Resort 5*)

The hotel is a good place to relax with family or friends and have a good time. Excellent food and large green area with swimming pools.

  1. (El Faraana Club 4*)

The beach is its own sandy one, close to corals, a pontoon, the first coastline. The bay is surrounded on all sides by mountains, so it is always warm and windless here

  1. Iberotel Club Fanara 4*
A great place to relax with family and young people. The beach is a natural sandy entrance to the sea, and not far from the shore there is a rich coral reef.
  1. Hilton Waterfalls 5*
The hotel is suitable for relaxing with children or friends. There is a gym.
  2. Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5*. Large selection of food and well-groomed area. Beach - corals grow near the shore, there is a pontoon, there is also a sandy entrance to the sea
  1. Renaissance Golden View 5* (Otium Hotel Aloha Sharm 4*)
A good place for a family holiday. Cosmetic renovations have been made to the rooms.
  2. Otium Hotel Aloha Sharm 4* (Renaissance Golden View 5*)
Family and youth holidays in this hotel. There is no special entertainment for children. You can only enter the sea from a pontoon.

    8. Royal Grand Sharm 5* (Otium Hotel Amphora Sharm 5*)
A holiday in this hotel will appeal to both families with children and young people.

    9. Otium Hotel Amphoras Sharm 5* (Royal Grand Charm 5*)
Large family hotel with well-kept grounds. Young people will also enjoy their holiday, as there are entertainment complexes near the hotel.

Bay Ras-Um-Sid with its magnificent coral reefs, it is one of the most popular diving spots. Its name means "mother's cape" in Arabic. The famous explorer Jacques Cousteau included these places in the list of the 10 best in the world. Due to the incredible beauty of the underwater world and the huge number of underwater marine inhabitants, the sea in the bay area is of great interest to divers.

If you decide to stay in this place, then there is not much difference in which of the hotels you stay in - El Faraana, Reef Oasis, Club Fanara- they are located next to each other, and as a rule, snorkelers swim along the reefs of all three hotels.

5.South. El Maya Bay ( old town and port)

Sharm el Maya is located in the southwest of the resort and is famous for the only sandy beach in the resort and the eastern Old Market. There is also the “Old Town” with many shops and cafes, and the harbor of the same name, from where yachts with tourists launch for boat trips and to the Ras Mohammed nature reserve.

2.Partner Turquoise 4*. The hotel is located in a closed lagoon. Beach with a convenient sandy entrance to the sea.

3.Dessole seti sharm 4*. gentle sandy entry into the sea, no special shoes required

5.Iberotel Palace 5*. The beach is an excellent natural beach with a sandy, gently sloping entrance to the sea

7.Beach Albatros SSH 4*. There is a sandy entrance to the sea, corals grow at the bottom - you need special shoes, the beach is large, there is both sandy and coral entry, there is also a small patch of hollow sandy shallow water. Uses the same beach Albatros Aqua Blu Sharm 4

Weather in Sharm El Sheikh

The climate of Sharm el-Sheikh is hot, tropical, desert with very little annual rainfall. In January-February, night temperatures drop to +15 °C, but during the day the sun shines brightly and numerous beach visitors sunbathe and swim.

In summer, temperatures can rise to +45 °C or more in the shade (the absolute maximum was set on June 3, 2013 and was +46 °C), the warmest month is August, the average maximum of which is +38 °C, and even at night the temperature is lower +30 °C, as a rule, does not drop.

The water temperature in the sea does not drop below +22 °C, even in winter. Rain in Sharm el-Sheikh is extremely rare, the air is dry and warm at any time of the year.

Egypt in spring

In spring, the number of tourists in Egypt begins to increase noticeably compared to winter. We can say that the weather in Egypt in March and April is not very constant. During this period of the year, depending on your luck: it may be warm, or the wind may blow quite strong. Spring in Egypt is known for its sandstorms. The fact is that from March to the end of April a dusty hot wind blows from the desert, which is called “khamsin”. First, the atmospheric pressure drops sharply, followed by a rise in temperature, which can rise to +40°C, and humidity can drop to 10%. The duration of storms is usually from one to 2-3 days.

Egypt in summer

At the height of summer in Egypt, in the very heat, only the hardiest camels and camels can safely relax on the beach!Summer in Egypt is known for high temperatures and scorching sun. As a rule, it is very hot at this time, the temperature reaches - 35-40 degrees, and on windless days it reaches +50°C. The sea temperature in the summer months is usually around 27-28°C. The weather in June on the Red Sea coast is hot, but the hottest period occurs in July and lasts until the end of September.

Egypt in autumn

After a hot summer, pleasant warmth sets in in the fall; it’s time to travel to Egypt with children.Autumn in Egypt, along with May, is considered an ideal time for relaxation. In September the weather becomes milder - it is still hot, but not as hot as in summer, and the water, heated over the summer, has not yet cooled down. This month is the calmest month of the year. In October and November the weather becomes even more comfortable, one might say optimal. During these months there is no unbearable heat, the air temperature stays around +30°C, and the sea temperature is about +27°C. But it is worth paying attention to the fact that temperatures between resorts can differ by up to 5°C.

Egypt in winter

It is believed that winter in Egypt is the season of winds. This is true, but not everything is so bad, because in Egypt the sun almost always shines, and the sea temperature does not fall below 22 C. The time from December 1 to December 20 is called the off-season period. Prices are low, there are few tourists, the sea is warm, the air temperature is about 28 C, but there is a possibility of windy weather. At this time, many people choose Sharm El Sheikh, this resort is less windy than Hurghada. Of the winter months, December is one of the best months to travel to Egypt. In January, the weather in Egypt is approximately the same as in December, but the likelihood of winds is higher, sometimes the sun can be hazy, which does not interfere with sunbathing. February in Egypt is considered the coolest month of the year, but nevertheless, prices are higher than in January, and vacations are in demand

Jellyfish season

In the spring, jellyfish begin breeding time and move closer to the shore. They appear from mid-March until May. Sometimes there are more of them, and sometimes there are practically none. Small jellyfish are unlikely to harm you, but contact with them is unpleasant. Purple jellyfish can sting unpleasantly when they come into contact with the skin.

No one will tell you what the weather will be like at the time of your trip, because... it is unpredictable, and year to year, month to month and day to day does not happen.

When writing this article, various Internet sources and the author’s personal impressions and experience were used.

YOU CAN READ DETAILS ABOUT SNORKLING AND DIVING IN EGYPT IN THE BOOK "EGYPT. SHARM EL SHEIKH"

EGYPT. SHARM EL SHEIKH

Sharm el Sheikh is famous for its reefs and rich underwater world. Unfortunately, there is very little such information about the underwater world of Sharm el-Sheikh bays on the Internet, and if there is any, it is limited to exclamations like how beautiful it is here, or how many different fish are swimming around. I will try to fill this gap and tell you in detail with a large number of photographs, videos and descriptions of fish and corals in the bays of Sharm el Sheikh. Observing the life of the inhabitants against the backdrop of underwater landscapes is not only incredibly beautiful, it is very interesting and educational.
