Hua Hin is a beautiful city, and in addition to the sea, there are many places to go and see, from the Royal Palace and the railway station to natural attractions in the vicinity.
I personally liked the city very much, and it is not boring at all, as many people think. Perhaps because I'm already a little old and all sorts of different parties and discos with ladyboys are not at all interesting to me.

After staying here for about 1-2 weeks, I had a strong desire to live here one day, and to live, rent a house and stay here for a couple of months, or maybe more. Yes, of course, Hua Hin is very far from the island nature, but as a good place to work and periodically relax at sea, it is quite suitable. Considering that I am not at all unpretentious about the sea, and there are a couple of good beaches here. I also liked the opportunity to walk along the city beach instead of the promenade. In general, I don’t like sand because it clogs into shoes and sticks to my feet, but here the coastline is notably trampled and wide, and you can go far, all the way to Khao Takiab.

Hua Hin is a kind of European resort. There are a lot of old men with Thai girls under the arm, including those in wheelchairs, there are enough bars with red lights, from where Thai girls passionately invite, but thank God not as passionately as in Pattaya. There is no debauchery, everything is decorous and noble, ladyboys also didn’t meet something special. In general, I even liked the city itself, somehow it is good and cozy in it. It is not very big, but it has everything you need: shops, shopping centers, a hospital, car and bike rentals. And it is especially pleasing that you can go to live on the outskirts or in the suburbs, where it will be very quiet in general, but at the same time you will have the opportunity to quickly get to the city center or go to Bangkok by minibus. Hua Hin is considered the safest city, perhaps it is, really very calm. By the way, I rented a car and a bike, they didn’t stop, everything went well, although I had my license with me.
