We checked the strength of the footrest for compliance with the vehicle regulations. We placed a 20 kg load on it for 3 minutes. The step must hold the load during this time. The footrest passed the test - it did not break. However, the stroller footrest is just a rubber band. She will not be able to hold the baby if he decides to stand on her.
